Langerado Music Festival 2009 Is Cancelled

The Langerado Music Festival has been cancelled because of the slow moving tickets. The bands scheduled to play In the Langerado Music Festival this year were Death Cab for Cutie, Thievery Corporation, Snoop Dogg, Broken Social Scene, Deerhunter, Modest Mouse, and Public Enemy.

Some days back the Langerado festival announced the expansion to its sizeable three-day lineup. Indie-rock heroes Modest Mouse was already the highest-profile for the March 6 - 8 marathon at Miami's Bicentennnial Park. Apart from the jerk in this news, there was immediate news which announced the cancellation of the seventh annual Langerado festival.

The reason might be the recession caused. The difficult economic time faced by the world has made this annual festival to halt. The co- promoter Ethan Schwartz says that they could not execute a production that lived up to the high standards of their past events and hence they have taken the toughest decision to cancel the Langerado Music Festival 2009.
