"How Old Is Simon Cowell?"

Simon Cowell was joking and he said in the news today that he will have his dead body frozen that's why people became curious of how old is Simon Cowell.

Simon Cowell was born on October 07, 1959 and he is 49 years old. Simon was weeping about the monotonous "horrible" performances of the Group 2 in American Idol 8.

There were fine performances by Allison Iraheta and Adam Lambert. and not to forget Jesse Langseth was also good when she performed Bette Davis Eyes.

Simon Cowell is happy with all the performances so far in Season 8, saying changes to the semifinal structure, including the return of judges’ wild-card picks, will yield better finalists.

The judges will have the right to bring back eight or nine singers from the contest and pick three to round out the Top 12 contestants in the Americal Idol. Simon cowell says “I think when we put the 12 together, there will be more personality, more interest and just more diversity.”

Kris Allen And "Man In The Mirror"

Kris Allen performs the song “Man in the Mirror” on American Idol 8 Top 36 by Michael Jackson last night.

Kris Allen made his best attempt to mark his performance as the best by singing “Man in the Mirror”. The judges were happy with the performance and agreed that Kris Allen showed his personality and were proud of his efforts.

Attempting to sing a song with Michael Jackson is very hard for any artist to even attempt, but Kris Allen gave his best shot and did amazingly well in the performance. Simon thinks the girls will love Kris Allen, and sometimes in American Idol, that's all it takes.

"If You Could Only See" - Lyrics

If you could only see the way she loves me
Then maybe you would understand
Why I feel this way about our love
And what I must do
If you could only see how blue her eyes can be when she says
When she says she loves me

Well you got your reasons
And you got your lies
And you got your manipulations
They cut me down to size

Sayin you love but you dont
You give your love but you wont

If you could only see the way she loves me
Then maybe you would understand
Why I feel this way about our love
And what I must do
If you could only see how blue her eyes can be when she says
When she says she loves me

Seems the road less traveled
Shows happiness unraveled
And you got to take a little dirt
To keep what you love
Thats what you gotta do

Sayin you love but you dont
You give your love but you wont
Youre stretching out your arms to something thats just not there
Sayin you love where you stand
Give your heart when you can

If you could only see the way she loves me
Then maybe you would understand
Why I feel this way about our love
And what I must do
If you could only see how blue her eyes can be when she says
When she says she loves me

Sayin you love but you dont
You give your love but you wont
Sayin you love where you stand
Give your heart when you can

If you could only see the way she loves me
Then maybe you would understand
Why I feel this way about our love
And what I must do
If you could only see how blue her eyes can be when she says
When she says she loves me

"Drops Of Jupiter" Lyrics

The lyrics of Drops Of Jupiter is below:

Now that she’s back in the atmosphere
With drops of Jupiter in her hair, hey, hey
She acts like summer and walks like rain
Reminds me that there’s time to change, hey, hey
Since the return from her stay on the moon
She listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey

Tell me did you sail across the sun
Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
And that heaven is overrated

Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star
One without a permanent scar
And did you miss me while
You were looking for yourself out there

Now that she’s back from her soul vacation
Tracing her way through the constellation, hey, hey
She checks out Mozart while she does tae-bo
Reminds me that there’s time to grow, hey, hey

Now that she’s back in the atmosphere
I’m afraid that she might think of me as plain ol’ Jane
Told a story about a man who is too afraid
To fly so he never did land

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance
Along the light of day
And head beck to the Milky Way
And tell me, did Venus blow your mind
Was it everything you wanted to find
And did you miss me while
You were looking for yourself out there

Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken
Your best friend always sticking up for you
Even when I know you’re wrong
Can you imagine no first dance,
Freeze dried romance five-hour phone
conversation
The best soy latte that you ever had… and me

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance
Along the light of day
And head back toward the Milky Way

Tell me did you sail across the sun
Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
And that heaven is overrated

Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star
One without a permanent scar
And did you miss me while
You were looking for yourself

Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na….

And Did you finally get the chance to dance
Along the light of day

Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na….

And did you fall for a shooting star
Fall for a shooting star
And you were looking for yourself out there.

"Bette Davis Eyes" By Kim Carnes

Jesse Langseth could not makehis mark from her performance tonight, she sang "Betty Davis Eyes," but the song did not help her rise above from the rest in the competition.

"Bette Davis Eyes" is a song by Kim Carnes from "Mistaken Identity" which was released on April 9, 1981.The song was written in the honor of the famous actress Ruth Elizabeth “Bette” Davis.

The lyrics of the song follow:

Her hair is Harlowe gold
Her lips sweet surprise
Her hands are never cold
She’s got Bette Davis eyes
She’ll turn her music on you
You won’t have to think twice
She’s pure as New York snow
She got Bette Davis eyes

And she’ll tease you
She’ll unease you
All the better just to please you
She’s precocious and she knows just
What it takes to make a pro blush
She got Greta Garbo stand off sighs
She’s got Bette Davis eyes

She’ll let you take her home
It whets her appetite
She’ll lay you on her throne
She got Bette Davis eyes
She’ll take a tumble on you
Roll you like you were dice
Until you come out blue
She’s got Bette Davis eyes

She’ll expose you, when she snows you
Off your feet with the crumbs she throws you
She’s ferocious and she knows just
What it takes to make a pro blush
All the boys think she’s a spy
She’s got Bette Davis eyes

And she’ll tease you
She’ll unease you
All the better just to please ya
She’s precocious, and she knows just
What it takes to make a pro blush
All the boys think she’s a spy
She’s got Bette Davis eyes

She’ll tease you
She’ll unease you
Just to please ya
She’s got Bette Davis eyes
She’ll expose you, when she snows you
She knows ya
She’s got Bette Davis eyes

Are You Jonas Brothers Fan?

The 81st Annual Academy Awards ceremony which was officially aired by ABC has now completed extensive programs related to the prime movie event.

Correspondent Barbara Walters did all the investigation and interrogation of several movie stars in one hour special. Jonas Brothers in particular sat down to answer some burning questions from Barbara and said about their daily life.

Barbara began the special event with the introduction of each of the brothers and continued on with their achievements. She also interviewed the boys' parents, Denise and Kevin Sr., and went to the theater with the trio to watch their latest 3D movie "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience".

In this session, Barbara also asked the boys to describe each other. Kevin Jonas praised Joe Jonas as an incredible stage performer who has a Mick Jagger persona while Joe said that his younger brother Nick Jonas is wise for his age. Nick, asked to describe Kevin, said, "Kevin is very enthusiastic. And also a dreamer, which is good. And at times kind of challenging, but it's always fun."

"Man On Wire" And "Smile Pinki" Won The Oscars

James Marsh's "Man On Wire" and Megan Mylan's "Smile Pinki" have won the Academy Award at the 81st annual Oscars in Hollywood.

the illusionist Philippe Petit balanced the Oscar statue on his chin and did a magic trick after "Man on Wire". Well he is a daredevil. This incredible film about thew insane tightrope walk between the Twin Towers, won the Oscar for best documentary as well.

"Man on Wire" is so very wonderfully captured who Petit is, what motivates him and the gift that compulsive drive gave the rest of us. And it helped our batting average for the night, which ain't too shabby.

Rebbie Jackson Is The Oldest Jackson

Know the family tree of the Jackson’s :

REBBIE JACKSON
Rebbie is the oldest Jackson child. She had a '80s hit with "Centipede" and played Vegas before retiring. She's the only Jackson to maintain a longtime relationship. She's been married to her high school sweetheart since 1968. Other Jacksons take note.

MICHAEL JACKSON
The biggest Jackson family star by a long shot, Michael has sold over 750 million records and is considered by Guinness World Records to be the most successful entertainer of all time. Plus, he's survived a rumored flesh-eating disorder (or at least everything but his nose). Still, he's pretty close to broke and is auctioning off his belongings in April. I hope he saves a few things for Marlon's museum.

JERMAINE JACKSON
The bass-playing heartthrob of the group, Jermaine had a brief solo career that included a duet with Pia Zadora. Jermaine is now an international reality-show star. He's been on "Australian Idol," "Celebrity Big Brother UK," and CMT's "Gone Country."

LaTOYA JACKSON
The middle daughter hasn't had much success professionally or personally. She released some forgettable singles, famously appeared in Playboy, and followed her brother Jermaine into the reality TV black hole. LaToya made her own "Celebrity Big Brother UK" appearance in 2009, then tried to earn some extra cash by charging fans for a meet-and-greet.

MARLON JACKSON
Aside from his Nigerian slave theme park/Jackson 5 museum resort, Marlon plays the real estate game in Southern California. Real estate prices are probably better in Nigeria than California these days.

TITO JACKSON
Immortalized by Eddie Murphy ("Tito, get me a tissue"), Tito now plays guitar in his own blues band and manages his sons' group, 3T. According to his website, a new album is expected shortly.

JANET JACKSON
The youngest Jackson has starred in two of the all-time coolest '70s and '80s sitcoms: "Good Times" and "Different Strokes." She could have just stopped there, and her place in history would have been secure. But she made one more legendary TV appearance with Justin Timberlake at Super Bowl XXXVIII. I prefer her in "Good Times." Lately, she's plotting another makeover. Her website is down ("new website coming soon"), and she parted ways with her label, Island Def Jam.

RANDY JACKSON
No, not that Randy Jackson. This one is the youngest Jackson brother, and he's a long way from "American Idol." He made one album under the name Randy & the Gypsys and now supposedly fixes cars in L.A, according to the New York Post.

JACKIE JACKSON
Jackie's closest brush with reality-show fame is a rumored affair with Paula Abdul in the '80s. Now he watches his son rap under the name DealZ.

JOSEPH JACKSON
He is the controversial patriarch who led his family to musical domination, then watched them slide into strangeness. He was a boxer, a musician, and a strict disciplinarian (to put it mildly). With no more Jacksons left to manage, Joe announced he was opening a boot camp for up-and-coming hip-hop artists. His goal was to "clean it up." Jackson family values, for sure.

Kara commented by saying – “It’s been a challenge to lose the demo singer thing - you have to kill it, it feels a bit old fashioned”

Paula – “Compared to Hollywood week, I think you actually did better, it’s a huge song and requires a tremendous amount of soulfulness”
Simon said “If we were searching for the best hotel singer in America you would make it, your voice is not good enough for that song, it destroyed you, you may have ruined your one chance”

American Idol Voting Starts

The voting processes for American Idol will start from today. Thre are 12 contestants out of which only 3 will move on. This decision is now in America’s votes.

The theme for tonight is Top 10 songs from the Billboard 100, any year. Below is the list of the American Idol contestants along with their choice of song for the performance.

Jackie Tohn will start the night. He is singing “Little Less Conversation” by Elvis Presley, IMO. Judges comments: Randy says “Not blown away by vocals, but you entertained” Kara “You can work a stage” and agrees that the vocals was not that good. Paula – “Got me up dancing” Simon – “You played the clown, the performance ungainly, gimmicky- don’t think public will like it very much”

Ricky Braddy is next who is singing “A Song For You” - Leon Russell. Good voice, ballad singer for sure. Judges: Randy “I liked it, way to start season, unbelievable nice voice” Kara – “You killed that- that was amazing” Paula – “I’m proud that American gets to see how talented, deserve to go very far” Simon – “Very very good”

Alexis Grace, singing “Never Loved A Man”- Aretha. Judges say: Randy “You found the soul, you worked it out, I’m loving you right now” Kara – “The genie is out of the bottle, you released something, pleasure to watch you come out of shell, I loved it” Paula – “You have the ability to present so much soul, so much passion, what’s inside is so large” Simon – “I think you by a mile are the best contestant we have, you actually do have soul, you have confidence, may be dark horse in this competition, reminds me of Kelly Clarkson”

Brent Keith Smith, singing country “Hick Town” - Jason Aldean. Judges: Randy – “I like that you returned to the country roots, new edge with own country swagger” Kara – “I like you - thinks he was a little safe, more in him than that” Paula – “Wants American to remember auditions, safe song for you, I definitely see you as country artist” Simon – “You’ve got one shot - nice guy, nice voice - you did something safe, not original, you may have blown opportunity by being forgetable”

Stevie Wright, singing “You Belong To Me” by Taylor Swift. Judges: Randy – “WOW, first one, it was not hot for me, I wasn’t feeling it at all, that was safe for you” Kara – “I have to agree with you, we wanted you to be young, song that had nothing to do with you” Paula – “I agree with these two - not right song for you” Simon – “It was terrible, the song is okay, you were out of tune, at least you got some experience, there is zero chance of you making through”

Anoop Desai singing “Angel of Mine” - Monica. Judges: Randy – “Interesting song choice, but the song to me was a little sharp - not with the band in background” Kara – “It’s a hard song to sing and I’m not sure you had the capability to nail it as it needs to be nailed” Paula – “America has connected with you in a large way - a different side of you” Simon – “Little too grown up for you, a bit too serious for you, have massive likability in your favor”.

Casey Carlson, singing Every Little Thing She Does is Magic - Police. Judges: Randy - that was not good for me - kinda weird for me - wrong for you, he gives the first “karaoke” comment tonight; Kara - everything about that was wrong; Paula - picking that song, no connection, phrasing was weird, didn’t think about what you were singing; Simon - she tells Simon she had fun, the singing was atrocious, and you could not have chosen a worse song, it doesn’t tell us what kind of artist you want to be, you got one massive opportunity tonight, you threw it away.

Michael Sarver, singing I Don’t Want to Be - Gavin McGraw. Judges: Randy - good part is you definitely got it, rough, first verse was a little weird - didn’t perform it that well; Kara - crowd pleaser song, but it wasn’t your best performance; Paula - I thought you did a real good job, I think you showed us a different side of you - changing hands with mike is distracting; Simon - gives people like you an opportunity, we like you, honest hard working who needs a break, it wasn’t the best vocal I’ve ever heard - if you get through it’s because people like you, I hope America does give you another shot.

Anne Marie Boskovitch, singing Natual Woman - Aretha. Judges: Randy - this song for me is not the right choice for you - this is a big vocal song - fell far below; Kara - it’s been a challenge to lose the demo singer thing - you have to kill it, it feels a bit old fashioned; Paula - Compared to Hollywood week, I think you actually did better, it’s a huge song and requires a tremendous amount of soulfullness; Simon - if we were searching for the best hotel singer in America you would make it, your voice is not good enough for that song, it destroyed you, you may have ruined your one chance.

Stephen Fowler, singing Rock With You - Michael Jackson. Judges: Randy - when we saw you first time, such a different kind of song for you, not in the right place for you - it was pitchy, not good; Kara - I got more from you at the piano when you forgot the lyrics, that song doesn’t give you any room to interpret; Paula - I’m glad you remembered the lyrics, better if you had proven you could sing that David Cook song, that song belongs to one artist; Simon - I wish you had forgetten the lyrics, a pointless performance, terrible arrangment, it was corney.

Tatiana Del Torro, singing I’m Saving All of My Love For You - Whitney Houston. Judges: Randy - when I heard you were singing this, I said oh no, you had some moments, she actually can sing - the melody on the 2nd verse was weird; Kara - it’s a roller coaster ride with you, I never know what you are going to pull, there were monments, you hit some of those notes, where do you fit, that’s my question; Paula - I think you are the most talked about contestant - this demure Tatiana I’m not used to, but I will say you closing note was beautiful, beautiful moments, pitchy moments, don’t know who you are today; Simon - you are a complete and utter drama queen, this is what it is with you, you are desperate to be famous, actually, surprisingly it wasn’t bad at all, better than I expected.

And we get to end the evening with Danny Gokey, singing Hero - Mariah Carey. Judges: Randy - redeemer of the night, that was blazing hot; Kara - you are the hero, you give us all hope, you were great; Paula - you are a stellar - sold out arena; Simon - it was good, I thought the arrangment, it wasn’t fantastic, it was good. I like you, I’m not buying the hype right now.

Choose Your American Idol NOW… The Voting Starts…

"The Braddy Bunch" - Ricky Braddy

Ricky Braddy has a fine sounding voice, but said that he has no character. Ricky Braddy was serving chicken fingers, and he quit to come on American Idol. Ricky has a distinct Southern accent.

Ricky Braddy was good in his auditions and Randy loved his performance initially. Though he fell separated in group day, but he had a great final Hollywood audition.

In the semi final round of American Idol Ricky Braddy sung Leon Russell "A Song For You." He did have one of the better voices of the night. The judges enjoyed his performance for sure.

Simon commented on his singing and his act by saying that he has all the star qualities, the self-belief or the charisma to go far. Randy loved his performance, he calls it "unbelievable. Kara gave her thoughts by saying "You killed that". Paula said, "Paula like song. Paula like Ricky. Paula thirsty."

With this was a surprise when Ricky's parents were shoot wearing t-shirts that says “The Braddy Bunch.”

"This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb" The Sticker Confusion

The bicycle owner was arrested Monday after the completion of police investigation about the bomb scare at Memphis International Airport.

John Greaud, the Vice President of Operations, Memphis International Airport, confirmed by saying "We cleared out a portion of the terminal building," The incident happened when an officer become aware of an upsetting sign which was stuck on the bike.

The note read as "We had a K-9 bomb dog respond," Greaud said. "They cleared the scene and indicated that it was not an explosive," he added.

Police would not let Action News 5 to get up close to the bike, but we could see the sticker just above the chain. It read "This Bike Is a Pipe Bomb."

"This Bike Is a Pipe Bomb" is the name of one of the folk-punk band from Pensacola, Florida. The band's bumper sticker was the reason for the confusion at airports in the past.

On Monday the Memphis Airport was at a stand-still and the roads leading into Memphis International as part of Terminal C was evacuated. "I saw a bunch of cops going over the bankings, going around people, cars waiting in traffic," traveler Dwayne Lapate said.

"Unfortunately, this is one of those things you can't plan for in great detail," Greaud said.

Nickelodeon’s - “Spectacular!”

The Nickelodeon’s movie “Spectacular!” Is an original new teenage musical. The stars of the movie are Smallville’s Nolan Gerard Funk as Nikko, who wants to be a rock star whose personal ambitions gets him kicked out of his homegrown rock band.

In the film, Greg Germann played “Ally McBeal” has the supporting role as the school’s disaffected music teacher and Nolan Gerard Funk stars as Nikko.

This is Nickelodeon’s new musical film “Spectacular!“ which premieres tonight at 8p.m. "Spectacular!" is Nickelodeon's answer to the Disney franchise. But the success of "HSM," "Camp Rock" and, to a certain extent, "Hannah Montana," the Jonas Brothers and even Nick's own "The Naked Brothers Band" simply marks a return of the old-fashioned, small-town musical that once ruled the big screen. You know, the ones in which a girl and a guy saved something or other by puttin' on a show.

Audrey Danity Kane Is Back

Danity Kane was one of the five members of the R&B group which came to life through the third season of MTV’s making the Band in 2005.

Aubrey Danity Kane is looking for a fresh start this year with a Playboy pictorial and new music on the way. Last week, Dawn Richard told MTV that Danity Kane is over. "My theme this year; let go of the past, and focus on all of the beautiful things that are about to fill our future!" was the comment that Danity Kane blogged. Also said that "I know most of you find that relevant to me in relation to my departure from dear ol' DK.

"I've stayed away from directly responding or commenting on the negativity, or misguided views and judgments that have unfortunately been the voice of summarizing Danity Kane ... it's only fair to finally put my thoughts of DK to rest."

She stated that being in the R&B group "was a beautiful experience, filled with all of life's wonderful ups and downs," and wrote that the reason for the split was not because the girls "suffered bad relationships, felt suffocated, unappreciated [and] sick of giving in."

In her recent interview she also said that "You may be seeing expression of emotions succeeding expression of actual reality, but that does not change the reality that every girl in this group had a dream, and we fought long and hard to see it become reality."

"I will forever be blessed to have had that experience,” "Each one of those girls is a talent to be reckoned with ... and beyond pure talent, which I hands down experienced on a daily basis from each girl, each girl really did want to be a role model and change the world in their own little way”

"And that's what made us real, what made us the truth, what made us something to believe in, and that inner desire on all of our parts has not changed."

Chris Brown And a woman got into a fight before the Grammy awards and Chirs was arrested because of domestic violence and it was then when we knew that the fight was between Chris Brown And his girl friend Rihanna.

Chris Brown was bailed out of the jail with an amount of $50,000. Now it appears that the fight was because Rihanna gave Chris Brown Herpes/STD.

"Fifteen" Performed by Swift And Cyrus

The lyrics of "Fifteen" performed by the Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus at the 51st Grammy Awards 2009.

Take A Deep Breath And You Walk Through The Doors
Its The Morning Of Your Very First Day
You Say Hi To Your Friends You Aint Seen In A While
Try And Stay Out Of Everybodys Way
Its Your Freshman Year And Youre Gonnaa Be Here
For The Next Four Years In This Town
Hoping One Of Those Senior Boys Will Wink At You And Say
You Know I Havent Seen You Around; Before
Cause When Youre Fifteen And Somebody Tells You They Love You
Youre Gonnaa Believe Them
And When Youre Fifteen
Feeling Like There Nothing To Figure Out
Well Count To Ten; Take It In
This Is Life Before Who Youre Gonnaa Be
Fifteen

You Sit In Class Next To A Redhead Naamed Abigail
And Soon Enough Youre Best Friends
Laughing At The Other Girls Who Think Theyre So Cool
Well Be Out Of Here As Soon As We Can
And Then Youre On Your Very First Date And Hes Got A Car
And Youre Feeling Like Flying
And Youre Momas Waiting Up And You Think Hes The One
And Youre Dancing Round Your Room When The Night End
When The Night Ends

Cause When Youre Fifteen And Somebody Tell You They Love You
Youre Gonnaa Believe Them
When Youre Fifteen And Your First Kiss
Makes Your Head Spin Round But
In Your Life Youll Do Greater Thaan Dating The Boy On The Football Team
But I Didnt Know It At Fifteen

When All You Wanted Was To Be Wanted
Wish You Could Go Back And Tell Yourself What You Know Now
Back Then I Swore I Was Gonnaa Marry Him Someday
But I Realized Some Bigger Dreams Of Mine

And Abigail Gave Everything She Had To A Boy
Who Changed His Mind And We Both Cried

Cause When Youre Fifteen And Somebody Tells You They Love You
Youre Gonnaa Believe Them
And When Youre Fifteen; Dont Forget To Look Before You Fall
Ive Found Thaat Time Can Heal Most Anything
And You Just Might Find Who Youre Supposed To Be
I Didnt Know Who I Was Supposed To Be At Fifteen

La La La La La .. La La La La La . La La La La La

Youre Very First Day
Take A Deep Breath Girl
Take A Deep Breath As You Walk Through Those Doors.

Ruckus The Music Server Has Closed Its Doors

Ruckus is an online music serving geared towards universities that allow students to brook an unlimited amount of music, has just closed its doors.

The service was an appeal to the college students which offered a legal alternative to the piracy that can be found on many campuses. Ruckus has moved to an ad-supported model and has partnerships with dozens of major universities. The site went down today with a note saying that it was undergoing an update.

Ruckus had acquired by Total Music last year. The joint venture between Sony and UMG had an intention of using it as a backend service which is not yet been launched. Total Music made a strong pitch to provide Facebook’s music service but was struggling. This was eventually denied when the social network was unwilling to share revenue and user data which might be the deal.

Langerado Music Festival 2009 Is Cancelled

The Langerado Music Festival has been cancelled because of the slow moving tickets. The bands scheduled to play In the Langerado Music Festival this year were Death Cab for Cutie, Thievery Corporation, Snoop Dogg, Broken Social Scene, Deerhunter, Modest Mouse, and Public Enemy.

Some days back the Langerado festival announced the expansion to its sizeable three-day lineup. Indie-rock heroes Modest Mouse was already the highest-profile for the March 6 - 8 marathon at Miami's Bicentennnial Park. Apart from the jerk in this news, there was immediate news which announced the cancellation of the seventh annual Langerado festival.

The reason might be the recession caused. The difficult economic time faced by the world has made this annual festival to halt. The co- promoter Ethan Schwartz says that they could not execute a production that lived up to the high standards of their past events and hence they have taken the toughest decision to cancel the Langerado Music Festival 2009.
