Bo Burnham

Bo Burnham The Massachusetts writer and also a comedian took YouTube by storm from some of his songs such as "My Whole Family..." and "New Math," and became a celebrity of YouTube and over the internet when in high school.

All his songs and rhymes are very simple and are connected on multiple levels that had the listener discovering more jokes after multiple listens. The first release of Bo Burnham was an online-only EP last summer, Bo Fo Sho, that was half old songs and half new, which included the hilarious "High School Party (Girl)" and "H-O-A-R."

Bo has released a self-titled debut album, in order to satisfy fans' taste for his politically incorrect satire. His act is totally different when live and the experiences from his songs on YouTube or his EP are awesome.

Brad Paisley’s "Then" Lyrics

Brad Paisley’s brand new single “Then” will be performed on the American Idol Season 8. Below is the lyric of the song.

I remember trying not to stare
The night that I first met you,
You had me mesmerized,
And three weeks weeks later,
In the front porch light,
Taking 45 minutes just to kiss goodnight.
I hadn’t told you then,
That I loved you then,

And now you’re my whole life,
And now you’re my whole world,
And I just can’t believe the way I feel about you girl,
Like a river needs the sea, Stronger than it’s ever been,
We've come so far since that day,
And I thought I loved you then

I remember taking you back to where I first met you,
You were so surprised
There were people around, but I didn’t care,
I got down on one knee right there,
And once again
I thought I loved you then,

And now you’re my whole life,
And now you’re my whole world,
And I just can’t believe the way I feel about you girl,
Like a river needs the sea, Stronger than it’s ever been,
We've come so far since that day,
And I thought I loved you then

I can just see you, with a baby on the way
I can just see you, when your hair is turning gray
What I can’t see is how I’m ever gonna love you more
But I’ve said that before

Now you’re my whole life
Now you’re my whole world
I just can’t believe the way I feel about you girl,
We'll look back someday at this moment
And ill look at you and say
And I thought I loved you then
And I thought I loved you then

“You Were Always On My Mind”

Anoop Desai one of the contestants of the American Idol Season 8 gave his performance in the country music of “You Were Always On My Mind”. It was one of his best vocal so far in the Season.

Simon said “Anoop is back. I am so proud of you. The love fit you with this song.”
You went from zero to hero. That was one of my favorite performances of the whole night said Randy. You can really sing. You proved it. I liked the arrangement commented Kara. Very hard to do what you did tonight. What you did tonight was amazing. Best performance of the night.

Maybe I didnt treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didnt love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time

You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasnt died
Give me, give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied, satisfied

Maybe I didnt hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
Im so happy that youre mine
If I make you feel second best
Girl, Im sorry I was blind

You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasnt died
Give me, give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied, satisfied

Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You are always on my mind
You are always on my mind

Jesus, Take the Wheel Lyrics

Jesus, Take the Wheel Lyrics is given below:

She was driving last Friday on her way to Cincinnati
On a snow white Christmas Eve
Going home to see her Mama and her Daddy with the baby in the backseat
Fifty miles to go and she was running low on faith and gasoline
It'd been a long hard year
She had a lot on her mind and she didn't pay attention
she was going way too fast
Before she knew it she was spinning on a thin black sheet of glass
She saw both their lives flash before her eyes
She didn't even have time to cry
She was sooo scared
She threw her hands up in the air

Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel

It was still getting colder when she made it to the shoulder
And the car came to a stop
She cried when she saw that baby in the backseat sleeping like a rock
And for the first time in a long time
She bowed her head to pray
She said I'm sorry for the way
I've been living my life
I know I've got to change
So from now on tonight

Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on

Ooh, Jesus take the wheel
Ooh, I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
From this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel
Ooh, take it, take it from me
Ooh ooh wah ah ooh ooh ooh

Randy Travis The Guest Mentor

Randy Travis joined the American Idol crew to help the contestants with the country songs and was a guest mentor of the show.

In the last episode Anoop Desai out shined everyone else. He gave a beautiful, heartfelt performance of a classic - Willie Nelson’s “Always on My Mind.” Megan Joy who was with Anoop Desai fighting for her survival last week, gave a nice performance of Patsy Cline’s “Walking After Midnight.” in spite of having the flu.

Kris Allen sang “To Make You Feel My Love” a Garth Brook song and made it more beautiful. Randy Travis called him a great ballad singer. Matt Giraud and Danny Gokey gave performance of Carrie Underwood songs. Matt sang his version “So Small” and Danny’s performed “Jesus Take the Wheel.”

Alexis Grace gave performance of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” and gave a different performance. Adam Lambert’s performance of “Ring of Fire” was also good he got general reaction about his performance from Randy Travis.

My Side Of The Story Lyrics

Keep excuses to yourself.
I'll come from the back door and catch you off guard.
Did you really think you were all by yourself?
I'll catch you off guard.

Sit down somewhere in your room.
Will I get you? Will I get you?
Will you still send all your letters when I'm not home?
Will you still write them?

And I am the reason you're always complaining.
This is my side of the story, but she always knows it,
And I already know what I've been missing.

Well kept secrets you kept to yourself.
I don't want to hear them. Where is your argument?
"You can't hate me for this." I'll keep you right where I want you.
She said, "Stop running your mouth off."

Sit down somewhere in your room.
Will I get you? Will I get you?
Will you still send all your letters when I'm not home?
Will you still write them?

And I am the reason you're always complaining.
This is my side of the story, but she always knows it,
And I already know what I've been missing,
Been missing.

No, no, no, you won't regret,
'cause I'm just your selfish little catch.
I'll sit in your apartment as I bide my time.
You don't have to think about me now.
So just start to tune me out.
It will make you think you're all alone.

So keep excuses to yourself.
I'll come from the back door
I'll catch you off guard.
Did you really think you were all by yourself?

'Cause I am the reason you're always complaining.
This is my side of the story, but she always knows it,
And I already know what I've been missing.

And I am the reason you're always complaining.
This is my side of the story, but she always knows it,
And I already know what I've been missing.

"Home Sweet Home" lyrics

Carrie Underwood known as the country music queen sings her version of Motley Crue’s classic “Home Sweet Home” which was the send-off song of American Idol Season 8.

The lyric of “Home Sweet Home” is given below:

You know I'm a dreamer
But my heart's of gold
I had to run away and hide
Cause I couldn't go home
Just when things went right
Suddenly it all went wrong
Just take this song and you'll never feel
Left all alone

Take me to your heart
Feel me in your bones
Just one more night
And I'm comin' off this
Long & winding road

I'm on my way
I'm on my way
Home sweet home
Tonight, tonight
I'm on my way
I'm on my way
Home sweet home

You know that I've seen
Too many romantic dreams
Up in lights, fallin' off the silver screen

My heart's like an open book
For the whole world to read
Sometimes nothing keeps me together at the seams

I'm on my way
I'm on my way
Home sweet home
Tonight, tonight
I'm on my way
Just set me free
Home Sweet Home
Home Sweet Home
Home Sweet Home
Home Sweet Home

I'm on my way
I'm on my way
Home Sweet Home
Yeah
I'm on my way
Just set me free
Home Sweet Home

Kelly Clarkson Has Gained Weight

"Oh, my God, I have no desire," 26 years old Winner of American Idol tells USA Today. "I would not be a good mother.”I mean, I love being an aunt to my niece and nephew," she continues. "And I used to want to, like, adopt 10 kids -- because I had friends who were adopted, and I thought that was the coolest thing, to be chosen. But...my job is too selfish."

"I went to see He's Just Not That Into You the other night, and honestly, you walk away from that movie feeling so glad that you're single," she says.

"I went with friends who are my backup singers on the road, and have their own group, and we were like, where do we even meet people when you're working so much?" "I mean, we travel with a bunch of married men! And I love working; I can't see myself not doing this."

"I'm not against it. If I found a guy who could handle my job, that would be cool," she says. "But I've dated a couple of guys who were awesome, and the celebrity part of my life and the traveling part are hard to get around.

"You never get to see each other, especially if you're both musicians," tells Clarkson, who has dated the singer/songwriter Graham Colton.

Clarkson Confirms that fame has not let her change and says "It would be easy for me to go, 'Whatever, I'll be a fembot.' But I have a big fear of change, or negative change, anyway," she says. "I'm basically the same person I was when I won Idol, or when I was 10.

"Maybe it sounds cheesy, but in a world that is not normal, my goal is to continue doing what I love and feeling good about it. That's it."

"Nixie"

The Nixie's Song is from the series of Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles which is written by Holly Black who has written 3 teen books, 1 graphic novel and 6 other children's books. She lives in Massachusetts.

In this Children’s book genre, there are two kids who have found a legendary Nixie in one of the ponds near their house. The nixie would be looking for help to find her sisters.

It’s a great story which has the main characters trust the magical creatures and also is a humorous one. The breaking of the fourth wall is very well put up. I liked it better than the original Spiderwick Chronicles or about the same. In all, it was a good short story and I will be reading the rest of the new series.

Rockin Robin lyrics

He rocks in the tree top all the day long
Hoppin’ and a-boppin’ and singing his song
All the little birds down Jaybird Street
Love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet

Chorus:
Rockin’ robin, tweet! Tweet! Tweet!
Rockin’ robin, tweet! Tweet! Tweet!
Go rockin’ robin
‘Cause we’re really gonna rock tonight

Every little swallow, every chick-a-dee
Every little bird in the tall oak tree
The wise old owl, the big black crow
FLAPPIN’ THEIR WINGS singin’ go bird go!

Chorus

MUSICAL INTERLUDE

Pretty little raven at the bird bandstand
Taught him how to do the bop and it was grand
They started going steady and a-bless my soul
He out-bopped the buzzard and the oriole!

He rocks in the tree top all the day long
Hoppin’ and a-boppin’ and singing his song
All the little birdies down Jaybird Street
Love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet!

Pretty little raven at the bird bandstand
Taught him how to do the bop and it was grand
They started going steady and a-bless my soul
He out-bopped the buzzard and the oriole!

He rocks in the tree top all the day long
Hoppin’ and a-boppin’ and singing his song
All the little birdies down Jaybird Street

Scott MacIntyre Mandolin Rain

Scott MacIntyre the contestant of American Idol sang "Mandolin Rain". He gave his audition in Phoenix, Arizona and is a survivor of several Hollywood auditions, too. Now, Scott MacIntyre finally made it American Idol Season 8 Top 36.

He was remarked by the judges as:

Randy - “This wasn’t the most perfect vocal, but you had to hit the big notes you really hit them.”
Kara - “You move mountains. You’re passionate about it and you don’t make excuses.”
Paula - “You blessed us all with your gift.”
Simon - “You’re growing on me. I think there are better singers in the competition. You’re the only one I think I’ll remember.”

Below is the lyrics of "Mandolin Rain" which was a song taken off The Way It Is album by Bruce Hornsby and the Range.

The song came and went
Like the times that we spent
Hiding out from the rain under the carnival tent
I laughed and shed smile
It would last for awhile
You dont know what you got till you lose it all again

Listen to the mandolin rain
Listen to the music on the lake
Listen to my heart break every time she runs away
Listen to the banjo wind
A sad song drifting low
Listen to the tears roll
Down my face as she turns to go

A cool evening dance
Listening to the bluegrass band takes the chill
>from the air till they play the last song
Ill do my time
Keeping you off my mind but theres moments
That I find, Im not feeling so strong

Listen to the mandolin rain
Listen to the music on the lake
Listen to my heart break every time she runs away
Listen to the banjo wind
A sad song drifting low
Listen to the tears roll
Down my face as she turns to go

Running down by the lakeshore
She did love the sound of a summer storm
It played on the lake like a mandolin
Now its washing her away again

Listen to the mandolin rain
Listen to the music on the lake
Listen to my heart break every time she runs away
Listen to the banjo wind
A sad song drifting low
Listen to the tears roll
Down my face as she turns to go

The boats steaming in
I watch the sidewheel spin and i
Think about her when I hear that whistle blow
I cant change my mind
I knew all the time that shed go
But thats a choice I made long ago

Listen to the mandolin rain
Listen to the music on the lake
Listen to my heart break every time she runs away
Listen to the banjo wind
A sad song drifting low
Listen to the tears roll
Down my face as she turns to go

Alex Wagner-Trugman

Alex Wagner-Trugman the goofy dancer sang "I Guess That's Why They Call it the Blues" by Elton John's on American Idol 8 Top 36. His performance of "That's Why They Call It The Blues" had many good moments, but it fell a bit short.

At one moment there was an odd scream which took place while singing and Kara pointed out how off putting it was. At the end Alex Wagner Trugman was a little more than the character from the auditions that made it further than anybody ever expected him to.

Arianna Afsar Performance Of "The Winner Takes it All"

Arianna Afsar performs the song "The Winner Takes it All" on American Idol 8 Top 36. This song was originally sung by ABBA.

The lyric of this song is given below:

I dont wanna talk
About the things weve gone through
Though its hurting me
Now its history
Ive played all my cards
And thats what youve done too
Nothing more to say
No more ace to play

The winner takes it all
The loser standing small
Beside the victory
Thats her destiny

I was in your arms
Thinking I belonged there
I figured it made sense
Building me a fence
Building me a home
Thinking Id be strong there
But I was a fool
Playing by the rules

The gods may throw a dice
Their minds as cold as ice
And someone way down here
Loses someone dear
The winner takes it all
The loser has to fall
Its simple and its plain
Why should I complain.

But tell me does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you?
Does it feel the same
When she calls your name?
Somewhere deep inside
You must know I miss you
But what can I say
Rules must be obeyed

The judges will decide
The likes of me abide
Spectators of the show
Always staying low
The game is on again
A lover or a friend
A big thing or a small
The winner takes it all

I dont wanna talk
If it makes you feel sad
And I understand
Youve come to shake my hand
I apologize
If it makes you feel bad
Seeing me so tense
No self-confidence
But you see
The winner takes it all
The winner takes it all...
