Alex Wagner-Trugman the goofy dancer sang "I Guess That's Why They Call it the Blues" by Elton John's on American Idol 8 Top 36. His performance of "That's Why They Call It The Blues" had many good moments, but it fell a bit short.
At one moment there was an odd scream which took place while singing and Kara pointed out how off putting it was. At the end Alex Wagner Trugman was a little more than the character from the auditions that made it further than anybody ever expected him to.
